Decided I needed an interest to take up some of my time after retirement. Living alone does not give me the enthusiasm to get out and about. After watching several TV shows on rebuilding classic cars, I remembered how much fun it was to drive my Mum’s old Morris 1100 back in the day so I decided to invest some of my kid’s inheritance and try to re in act the fun I remembered. After searching everywhere for a Morris 1100 it was obvious they were hard to find in good condition, so I opted for the next best thing , a Morris Mini of the same vintage. Amazingly I found one that has been in a museum and was in pristine condition. All I need to do is enjoy it and keep it clean. As I hate washing cars, I figured it might fit in the dishwasher.
